The contours are unusually dramatic, with flared pointed corners to the top and curved apron panels to both the front and the sides. The inside surface is blue silk with a metallic silver thread trim - some light staining and wear to the fabric (which is replaceable if desired). Good antique condition over all, with signs of age and use, some age separations to the wood: see photos. French polished. Probably Irish. Ca. early 19th century.
