An antique crystal chandelier with an open, elegantly curved structure and rich crystal ornamentation. Stylistically, we attribute it to the Louis XV Revival tradition with Rococo influences.
The frame is predominantly made of brass, complemented by other metal elements. Curved arms and decorative foliate ornaments give the chandelier its distinctive appearance.
The crystal ornamentation combines a variety of shapes, including large, faceted drops, smaller pendants, crystal chains, flowers, and rosettes. Numerous large crystal drops are arranged in the lower section, creating an opulent yet harmonious overall effect.
Eight E14 sockets hang from curved arms, some of them resting on clear crystal bowls.
Based on its construction and decorative details, we date the chandelier to around 1910.
The chandelier has been fully restored and rewired.
