Unique Split Reed Rattan and Faux Finished Metal Sculptural Floor Lamp
Absolutely striking floor lamp with a rope-wrapped shade, spherical elements and a dramatic, swirling steel element from the neck, that cascades down a partial length of the base. The lower portion of the base is cane-wrapped and has a telescoping function. The shade pivots and the lamp retains the working original wiring. We love the variety of materials and especially the small spherical feet.
This lamp bears a resemblance to Swedish and Finish floor lamps, that also have sculptural forms and combine iron, steel and rattan or woven reed; we cannot confirm the maker from the research we have performed to date.
At CONTEXTvintage, we are as transparent as possible about vintage condition and wear. Surface age and imperfections are present to the cane and metal (please review all photos).
