Mid-century British Oak armchair made by the Jamestown Lounge Company of Jamestown, New York.
Crafted from substantial oak, this distinctive chair features a wide plank seat, sculpted wraparound arms, exposed joinery, tapered legs and a carved floral motif on the backrest. The warm brown finish highlights the wood grain and gives the chair an appealing rustic character.
The chair retains its original branded maker’s stamp underneath, reading “British Oak — Made by Jamestown Lounge Company.”
Its substantial construction and uncommon design make it an excellent accent chair for a living room, library, study, lodge, cabin or rustic interior.
