Lande designed it in 1962. It rocks, reclines and can be locked in place, so it is equally suited to reading, relaxing or simply settling in.

The sculptural walnut frame cradles the high-back upholstered seat. It has gracefully curved armrests and an open, airy side profile. The chair has been reupholstered in a beautiful soft stripe of cream, tan, rust and pale blue, which gives it a warm vintage feel and complements the rich tone of the wood. The tufted backrest adds a tailored finish. The rocking and reclining mechanism works perfectly, and a side knob locks the chair at your chosen recline position.
