Excellent vintage condition. Condition is excellent, no chips or repairs. This striking vintage lead crystal trinket box from the renowned "Byrdes" collection by Hofbauer brings a touch of mid-century European elegance to your vanity or dresser.

Crafted in West Germany during the late 1970s to 1980s, this heavy, high-quality cut glass chest features intricate diamond-cut patterns alongside the collection's signature engraved bird motifs on the side paneling. The removable domed lid is beautifully crowned with a faceted 3D bird finial acting as the handle.

Perfect as a small jewelry casket, keepsake chest, or standalone decorative statement piece for Hollywood Regency, Cottagecore, or traditional interior aesthetics.

This piece was made in West Germany (the Federal Republic of Germany) before the reunification of the country. The company itself ceased all operations in the late 1980s to mid-1990s following a major factory fire, making your piece a definitive mid-to-late 20th-century vintage collectible

Measures approx: 4.75" T; 4" L; 2.75" W.
