Lovely vintage vegetable bowl in the “Blue Onion” pattern (a variation of the “Blue Willow” and other “Blue and White” that became extremely popular in earlier centuries). This iconic variation features stylized Eastern motifs, including asters, peonies, and pomegranates (which Europeans often mistook for onions).
This square bowl is decorated in cobalt against a bright white background, and is great for tabletop use or display.
