Exceptionally solid and substantial, this American-made dresser is constructed of solid wood with no veneer. Its restrained Mid-Century Modern design features six generously sized drawers, integrated recessed pulls and clean architectural lines without applied decorative hardware.

The piece has been completely refinished. The original surface was carefully sanded down to expose the natural wood and refinished in a warm coffee-walnut tone selected to emphasize the beautiful grain and natural variation throughout the piece.

Three coats of satin polyurethane were then applied, creating a durable furniture-grade protective finish while maintaining a soft, understated sheen.

The original Conant Ball Furniture Makers “1852” maker's stamp remains present inside the dresser.

At 48 inches wide, the piece provides substantial storage without the oversized footprint of a long triple dresser. Its minimalist form makes it equally appropriate as a bedroom dresser, credenza, entry console or storage piece.

A handsome example of well-built American Mid-Century furniture, thoughtfully restored while preserving the craftsmanship and character of the original.
