I sourced this five-piece bookcase when I was literally looking for architecture to fill an empty wall. Unlike most bookcases, it measures approximately 95.5" tall, giving it a floor-to-ceiling presence in many homes. It includes four slim modular units and one wider unit, so you can create a full library wall or separate them and use them almost like architectural columns, as I did in my own space.

Part of Lily’s Favorite Things: Every once in a while, I find a piece I’m genuinely reluctant to sell simply because I love it so much. After all, that is how House of Beautiful Things began: with my love of collecting beautiful things. This bookcase is one of those pieces. It’s incredibly beautiful, and I’m pretty sure whoever ends up with it will love it just as much as I do.

Please note: a few of the bookcases have cutouts for electrical cords.

How to Style: Run all five pieces together for a library wall, flank a doorway or console with the slimmer sections, or split them across a room for a more collected look. Keep the styling restrained and let the vertical lines do the work.

About House of Beautiful Things:

House of Beautiful Things was born from a simple belief: exceptional design should be accessible. While furnishing my own home, I discovered that the pieces I was most drawn to-- beautifully made, unusual, sculptural furniture-- were often difficult to find and prohibitively expensive when I did find them. HOBT is my answer to that: thoughtfully sourcing distinctive furniture and objects and offering them at prices that make remarkable design more attainable. See less
