The larger vase is sculpted with two graceful pheasants nestled among stylized foliage, with a scalloped, flower-like opening at the top. The coordinating smaller piece features a single pheasant with an elongated, sweeping tail beside a fluted vase opening, creating a playful figural composition.

Both pieces have beautifully varied hand-applied coloration and glossy, softly iridescent surfaces characteristic of mid-century decorative ceramics. Their whimsical bird forms and pastel palette make them particularly appealing for Mid-Century Modern, kitsch, Hollywood Regency, eclectic, and vintage-inspired interiors.
