Striking vintage studio pottery bowl featuring an expressive turquoise, olive green, cream, and deep brown drip glaze.
The generously proportioned vessel has a softly rounded, organic silhouette with a gently flared rim. Rich brown and oxblood glaze cascades vertically over a pale ceramic ground, while translucent turquoise and green tones dominate the interior and portions of the exterior. The layered glazing creates dramatic variation from every angle, with areas of pooling, dripping, mottling, and natural surface movement.
The bowl has a substantial, tactile presence and an earthy studio-pottery aesthetic that works beautifully with organic modern, Mid-Century-inspired, rustic, Southwestern, or eclectic interiors. A particularly handsome statement piece for a coffee table, console, open shelving, or dining display.
The underside bears an unidentified incised mark. Maker and origin have not been determined.

The piece displays extensive natural variation throughout the glaze, including crazing, pooling, drip marks, tonal variation, and firing irregularities that contribute to its handmade studio-pottery character. The unglazed base shows expected shelf and handling wear. Please review all photographs closely for the most accurate representation of condition. less
