A charming vintage wrought iron garden bench featuring an elegantly arched back embellished with generous scrolling ironwork and a graceful fan-like arrangement of slender vertical supports. Large open S-scrolls decorate either side of the back, while beautifully curved strap-iron arms terminate in tightly rolled scrolls.
The substantial open strapwork seat provides excellent support while retaining the light, airy quality associated with classic European garden furniture. Additional scroll decoration along the apron completes the design.
The bench has been recently professionally powder coated in a rich glossy black, giving the ironwork a crisp, refreshed appearance while providing a durable finish suitable for a garden, terrace, covered porch, conservatory, sunroom or interior entry.
The bench is very solid and sturdy and has particularly pleasing proportions for a two-seat garden bench.
