This striking specimen is rendered in the firm's highly collectible "Antique Gold" finish, showcasing a masterfully hand-applied, textured surface. The design features a meticulous metallic gold wash elegantly brushed over a vibrant turquoise-aqua base glaze, resulting in a rich, sgraffito-like linear texture that beautifully captures ambient light. Its classic baluster form, complete with a flared rim and gently tapered foot, epitomizes the understated organic modernism of the 1960s decorative arts.

An ideal, scale-conscious structural accent, this vintage vase brings an element of sophisticated texture and warm metallic luster to a curated mantle, editorial bookshelf vignette, or modernist tablescape.

The underside is fully documented with the crisp, underglaze stamped manufacturer's backstamp reading: "Stangl Pottery, Trenton, N.J., Antique Gold" along with the impressed shape number 3981 and incised artisan marks. See less
