Antique 19th Century Victorian solid silver presentation shovel, exceptionally large, the solid silver blade is engraved "Presented to Mrs Theobald, by the workmen of St Cuthbert's Lead Works, with their best wishes for success, September, 1892", wooden handle, D-shaped handle.
Hallmarked English silver (925), London, year 1892 (R), Maker's mark WBJ (Walter & John Barnard).
