Crafted from a copper body with intricate wire inlay , each piece is beautifully decorated against a vibrant turquoise ground. The teapot features a rounded, bulbous body with a curved spout and an ear-shaped handle. Its central body is adorned with a large, lobed cartouche in deep cobalt blue, containing a hand-painted scene of vibrant red, orange, and pink blossoms with green leaves and a small butterfly in flight. The remainder of the teapot, lid, spout, and handle are densely patterned with colorful, stylized floral sprays in yellow, blue, purple, and white. The four matching teacups share the same turquoise ground and are decorated with similar multi-colored floral sprays. All pieces feature polished gold-toned rims and bases, and the interiors are glazed in a bright, solid turquoise blue.
