possibly a british, american, or dutch model

finely chiseled teapot coffee pot sugar bowl milk jug set richly adorned with relief rocaille decoration of cartouches, foliage scrolls, stylized flowers and shells and gracefully curved feet

the decorations are based on the 18th-century baroque and rococo styles, but this is a later revival set of the the late 19th century

the set is silver-plated on copper

condition and patina consistent with age and use, copper is shining through at some places

all four pieces stamped below. Mark undefined. The mark shown is a composite monogram (a maker's mark) in which the letters j (i), h, and u are intertwined in a gothic manner. It may also be an exclusive family monogram that was applied to the bottom of the set at the time at the owner's request.
