An exquisite 3-piece hand-painted porcelain tea service by Herend Hungary, featuring the highly coveted and luxurious Blue Fish Scale (RO-EB) border variant. Originally designed in 1860 for the prominent European Rothschild banking dynasty, this iconic pattern showcases incredibly vibrant, meticulously detailed hand-painted pairs of birds, butterflies, and whimsical insects.
The premium Blue Fish Scale border is a labor-intensive, entirely hand-painted design that requires remarkable skill and precision from Herend master artists, adding significant depth and luxury status to this set. Both the teapot and lidded sugar bowl feature beautifully sculpted, three-dimensional pink rose finials.
This Complete Luxury Set Includes:
1. Teapot with Lid: Features an intricate hand-formed pink rose knob finial, rich gilded accents, and an elegant, sweeping spout and handle.
2. Lidded Sugar Bowl: Perfectly balanced proportions with a matching pink rose finial and dual bird portraits.
3. Creamer / Milk Pitcher: Graceful handle silhouette with a brilliantly gilded inner rim edge.
