The frame is constructed from smoothly curved lengths of rattan joined with wrapped bindings at key intersections. A rounded outer back rail sweeps continuously around the upholstered back cushion, while overlapping curved members form the open arms and side supports.

Particularly distinctive is the pedestal. Multiple concentric courses of rattan create a broad circular base, visually grounding the chair while concealing the swivel-rocker mechanism above.

A generously padded seat cushion and large tufted back cushion soften the architectural frame. Both are upholstered in a light botanical textile incorporating cream, pale green, blush, and darker accent tones.

The combination of natural rattan, rounded construction, generous upholstery, and a low-slung lounge profile gives the chair an easygoing 1970s–80s character particularly suited to coastal, bohemian, tropical, and eclectic interiors.
