the top is made of gray marble veined with black and white, framed by a carved wooden gallery in the shape of an accolade. The upper section is surmounted by a hinged triptych mirror with beveled edges, mounted on gilt metal hinges.

the two side doors are adorned with bas-relief floral carvings—a large flower with round petals and leafy stems—and fitted with chrome latch handles in a typical art deco design. The four central drawers have matching oval chrome handles.

the piece shows wear consistent with its age: slight oxidation of the metal elements, and a natural patina on the wood and marble. The back is made of unfinished plywood, a common material for furniture of this period.
