the 1853 follows the design language of a classic table lamp, consisting of a bulbous base with a shade attached. However, in this case, both the base and shade are made of glass. They appear particularly impressive when fully illuminated, as all parts of the lamp shine white, highlighting their form and size. The heavy shade rests on three supports and is held in place by clips. A three-way switch allows the different elements of the lamp to be turned on and off separately, enabling different lighting moods and plays of light. A special detail in the lamp's simple design is the white metal base with its symmetrical perforation, serving as a simple ornament.

the lamp is in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
