This vintage stoneware vase presents a slender, elegant silhouette, its form swelling gently at the shoulder before tapering to a narrow, flared neck and rounded lip. The body flares again at the base into a subtle trumpeted foot, giving the piece a balanced, classical profile reminiscent of a small carafe or bud vase. The glaze is richly variegated, flowing in warm, earthy tones of amber, ochre, and soft taupe-grey that shift and blend across the surface, pooling more densely in places to create deeper, moodier passages of color against lighter, sun-washed highlights. This glaze variation is especially visible where the tones meld together mid-body, giving the vase a painterly, almost watercolor-like quality despite being entirely glaze-driven. The surface carries minor handcrafted irregularities, subtle texture and glaze pooling characteristic of hand-thrown stoneware, which add authenticity and artisanal charm rather than detracting from the piece. The glossy, reflective finish catches light beautifully across the curved body, highlighting the vase's simple, confident form.
Use this vase to display a single stem or small floral arrangement on a nightstand, bathroom shelf, or windowsill, or let it stand alone as a quiet sculptural accent. Its warm, earthy glaze suits Boho, Organic Modern, Japandi, Coastal, and Eclectic interiors. The vase measures 2¼ inches wide, 2¼ inches deep, and 5¾ inches high. Hand wash with mild soap and a soft sponge if used with water; dry promptly to prevent moisture retention in unglazed areas. The vase is in very good vintage condition, with a well-preserved glaze showing a warm, age-appropriate patina, minor surface irregularities consistent with handmade production, and no visible chips, cracks, or repairs.
