A deep charcoal-grey ground fills a recessed central panel, bordered by a thin raised frame glazed in a soft, mottled pale blue-green that outlines the design and separates it from the darker, unglazed margin surrounding it. Within the panel, a series of parallel diagonal lines run in tight formation, each line carved and glazed in a different muted tone, cream, soft grey, pale olive, and one striking line in warm terracotta red, creating a rhythmic, almost rain-like pattern across the dark surface.
