The compact rectangular case features richly figured drawer fronts, fluted corner details, and small turned pendant finials. A substantial turned central column supports four sweeping legs, each accented with reeding and terminating in an upward curl above a rounded foot.
The upper drawer is divided into three compartments, reflecting the table’s likely original use for sewing implements and small household accessories. Dovetail joinery is visible at the drawer corners.
Its warm wood tones and sculptural silhouette make it a distinctive accent beside a reading chair or bed. The drawers provide useful concealed storage while the compact top accommodates a small lamp and favorite objects.
