A lovely collection of seven vintage English Adams Calyx Ware berry bowls in the Metz pattern. Soft aqua-blue grounds are decorated with romantic pink florals, vivid green foliage and warm ochre-gold edging, all presented in a beautifully proportioned shallow faceted form.
Five bowls bear the earlier Adams Calyx Ware mark and two the later mark, giving the set subtle variations characteristic of pieces collected across different production periods.
Beautiful for serving berries or dessert, and equally appealing stacked or displayed in an English country or traditional interior.
