Teak frame with extendable top, two sliding drawers, and tapered legs; the fold-down side extension measures 39.5 cm. Scandinavian production, 1950s/1960s.
Made according to the principles of functionality and flexibility typical of post-World War II Scandinavian design, this desk combines a compact structure with particularly interesting design solutions. The top can be extended laterally thanks to a fold-down element of 39.5 cm, while the two drawers are inserted into a separate module that can slide from side to side, allowing them to be positioned on the right or left. The tapered legs visually lighten the structure, while the contoured handles discreetly follow the design of the drawers; on the surfaces, the teak grain adds warmth and movement to the composition. Good condition. May show signs of wear. Please refer to the photographs.
