The exact origin of this set of 2 chairs is not known. We purchased these as chairs from South Africa. They show similarities with European farmhouse chairs, and either originate from Europe or were probably made by South Africans with European roots. Age- and use-related wear and old woodworm traces, but structurally sound and sturdy. Dating from the 19th century.
Dimensions of the chairs vary slightly.
