Signed Gmundner Keramik, a renowned Austrian manufacturer, this beautiful glazed stoneware embodies the mid-century spirit in all its elegant simplicity. The form is pure and generous: a perfectly round, globular body, resting on a discreet ring base, topped with a short, molded neck. Nothing is superfluous; everything lies in the material and the color. It will find its place equally well on its own on a sideboard or as part of a collection of vintage ceramics.

The vase is antique and dates from the 1950s. Some slight signs of wear are visible on the glaze. The base bears the manufacturer's mark in a square frame, with the inscription "Austria." It is in good condition.
