A French Empire period side table in burled walnut, circa 1890. The beveled tabletop is inset with green marble, framed with a braided brass trim. Decorated with brass ormolu throughout; the serpentine skirt is trimmed with acanthus c-scrolls and floral medallions, the turned column with upright palm fronds, and carved tripod legs drip with floral and acanthus sprays, swags and rosettes.
