Crafted in stoneware and rising in a tapered, elongated silhouette, the vessel transitions from a softly rounded body to a sharply faceted neck, creating a subtle dialogue between curve and edge. The surface is finished in a deep, matte charcoal glaze, its lightly pebbled texture catching the light.

Bloch’s sculptural sensibility is evident in the pared-back geometry and architectural presence of the form. The asymmetrical mouth and angular collar introduce a measured tension, while the dark, monolithic finish emphasizes mass and proportion over ornament.

Condition: In excellent vintage condition. The artist’s signature is found at the foot, alongside a stamp on the side of the vase. See less
