The form is defined by a rounded, flattened body with an elongated vertical neck and a gently flared mouth, accompanied by a secondary, low-set spout integrated into the shoulder. One face is finished in a softly speckled sky-blue glaze, while the opposing side is articulated with a hand-impressed grid of small, raised dots in muted tones of red, yellow, blue, and ivory.

The contrast between the matte blue surface and the patterned inset highlights De Santis’ sculptural approach to handmade ceramics—where color, texture, and form are held in careful balance.

Signed along the underside, this piece reflects the artistry and craftsmanship of 1960s Italian pottery.

Condition: Great vintage condition with minor glaze imperfections consistent with the handmade process. Signed on the underside. See less
