Carved from softly veined alabaster, the vase tapers from a rounded shoulder to a narrow foot, its creamy, translucent body animated by natural marbling in warm tones of ivory, honey, and pale taupe.

The vase is cradled within a hammered gilt metal stand, punctuated by delicate foliate details and suspended rings, while slender supports descend to a splayed base. The contrast between the cool, smooth alabaster, subtly catching light across its polished surface and the textured, time-softened gilding creates a harmonious dialogue of material and finish.
