Swedish Mid-Century Modern, Floor Lamp, Forged Iron, Fabric, Brass, Sweden, 1950s
A sculptural floor lamp designed and produced in Sweden during the 1950s. Executed in hand-forged iron with expressive scrolling details at the top and base, supporting an angled vintage fabric shade with brass hardware. The elegant curvilinear ironwork gives the piece a distinctive decorative character while retaining the restrained quality of Swedish modern design. Marked “GK 31” on the underside. Will be adapted for US use at the time of purchase. Vintage fabric lampshade in fair condition with some marks/dirt stains throughout.
