Handsome vintage gentleman’s chest by Kindel Furniture of Grand Rapids, crafted in beautifully figured wood with warm burl accents and traditional brass hardware.
The compact cabinet offers an unusually versatile interior, with a central locking cabinet, multiple smaller drawers, two generous lower drawers, and a pull-out writing or work surface. The interior cabinet provides additional concealed storage, making this piece equally useful as a gentleman’s chest, jewelry or accessory cabinet, bedside cabinet, or sophisticated small storage chest.
Traditional bracket feet, paneled drawer fronts, decorative brass pulls, and the richly figured top give the piece a refined English-inspired appearance. Quality construction is evident throughout, including dovetailed drawer joinery and Kindel’s characteristic attention to cabinetry and detail.
