Striking vintage figural table lamp featuring an elegant porcelain woman in a dramatic black gown richly decorated with hand-painted gold, bronze, blue and scrolling ornamental details.

The elongated female figure has auburn hair, delicately painted facial features and a glamorous, stylized pose. She stands on a vivid green floral-decorated porcelain plinth mounted to an elaborate embossed metal base with floral and scroll ornamentation and an aged bronze/copper-tone finish.

One of the lamp's most unusual features is its coordinating porcelain lady figural finial. Measuring approximately 3" tall including its turned brass threaded fitting, the miniature female figure wears a black floral-decorated gown and appears intentionally coordinated with the larger porcelain figure below.

The lamp is completed by a curved metal support and vintage ivory bell-form fabric shade.

No manufacturer or porcelain factory mark has been located. The underside metalwork bears an “E” and “18”, believed to be manufacturing, assembly or component markings; their exact significance is unknown. Because no definitive maker's mark has been found, the lamp is being offered as maker unknown / unmarked.

Stylistically, the piece combines Art Deco Revival glamour with Hollywood Regency decorative styling and is believed to date approximately to the 1940s–1950s.

IMPORTANT ELECTRICAL CONDITION: The lamp retains older electrical components, and the plug shows deterioration/damage. For safety, the lamp should be professionally inspected and/or rewired before use. It is being sold for decorative purposes and with rewiring recommended.
