English writing desk in a double-sided design, where on one side you will find a drawer section with 2x 4 … Read more English writing desk in a double-sided design, where on one side you will find a drawer section with 2x 4 drawers on the sides and one large central one, and on the other side three upper drawers and a pair of containers for files. The top is upholstered in three panels of leather decorated with blind printing on the sides. The top is further richly decorated with fine edge carving. The writing desk is made of solid walnut with a beautiful pattern. The legs are typical Chippendale. High-quality cast brass fittings. The table can be divided into a top with drawers and two lower containers for transport - easy moving. Condition: very good, no wormholes. Date: first half of the 20th century. Provenance: England.
