An advocate for traditional Swedish craftsmanship, Malmsten opposed strict functionalism, favoring a sense of warmth in his designs that spoke to the home as "an intimate place of gathering and repose." Typical of Malmsten's work are the softened edges observed on this dining set. Although the elegant and clean lines characteristic of mid-century modernism remain, sharp corners are notably absent.

An exemplary piece of craftsmanship, this dining set is sure to welcome you and your guests with its softened edges, warm toned-wood, and comfortable seating.

Table: 29.75" H / 35.5" W / 102.5" L (with leaves) / 55.25" L (without leaves)
Chairs: 40" H / 18.5" W / 17" D

This is a vintage set that has some wear and tear. Quite a few scuff marks on the wood, particularly on the bottoms of the chair legs. Some staining/discoloration to the upholstery. See final photos for examples.
