A charming and highly collectible 8-piece French Art Déco dessert service produced by the historic Sarreguemines manufacture, featuring the iconic "Maroussia" pattern from the 1920s-1930s.
Crafted in fine French faïence (earthenware), this set is decorated with a vivid, graphic motif characteristic of the French Art Déco era: a vibrant green striped rim accented by stylized floral elements in warm orange and bold black scrollwork over a clean off-white glazed surface.
The set includes 8 pieces:
6 Dessert / Cake Plates
1 Large Round Serving Platter
1 Raised Cake Stand / Footed Pedestal Dish (Alzatina)
Condition:
In very good vintage condition. The glaze retains its original brilliance and vibrant colors. Minor, charming age-appropriate surface signs and light glaze patina, adding to its authentic vintage character. Fully stamped with the official Sarreguemines manufacture mark on the underside.
A striking addition to any curated table setting, ideal for Art Déco lovers, French country chic interiors, and fine ceramic collectors. This piece has an attribution mark,
