A pair of armchairs designed by Gyula Kaesz in the 1930s. The wooden frames have been carefully restored, and the cushions have been newly upholstered in a soft bouclé fabric. The graceful curves of the wooden structure are characteristic of Kaesz’s work. A rare and highly collectible Hungarian Art Deco set. The listing includes the two armchairs. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
