A beautifully detailed decorative picture frame featuring an ornate embossed metal surround with a rich, timeworn brass and dark patinated finish. The sculptural border is embellished with radiating foliate motifs, raised beading, and a distinctive arched crest, giving the piece an elegant Old World character.
The combination of warm antiqued gold tones and deep darkened recesses creates wonderful depth and texture. Its petite scale makes it especially appealing for displaying a treasured photograph, miniature artwork, portrait, or other small keepsake. Equally striking displayed on its own as part of a collected grouping of antique and vintage frames.
The frame shows variations in finish and surface wear that contribute to its vintage character. Please refer to photographs for condition and details.
