This Howard and Sons style chair, with its iconic low profile, has tapered wood legs that hold a tight structured form. It has a rectangular back, sloping arms, and a deep set padded seat typical of English library furniture.

Turned baluster front legs. Upholstered in a pale sage green patterned damask textile with a repeating geometric floral medallion pattern.

The chair's frame is tight as designed with no wobble.
The upholstery is likely original and in good condition with a few spots and worn areas as shown.
One discolored mark on back rest which could come out with a light cleaning.
