Standing 11.75 inches high, each holder features thick iron chains that curve upward to round drip trays with central spikes for securing candles. Wide, scalloped iron bands form the bases as stable arches, ending in tightly coiled scrolls that add visual interest and structural support. The dark, weathered patina, intricate chain links, and hand-forged quality give the pair a strong sense of history and character.

Subtle variations in texture and finish speak to skilled craftsmanship, while areas of natural oxidation and wear are consistent with the vintage character of the pieces. Their detailed chain and scrollwork may reflect a mid-20th-century creation influenced by earlier medieval designs. With a rugged yet artistic presence, these iron candle holders make a striking addition to a collection of vintage metalwork. The sculptural profile is equally suited to display when unlit, and the substantial wrought-iron construction gives the holders a grounded presence. They are offered in good vintage condition, with the character expected of aged metalwork. Dimensions: 8.25″W × 5.5″D × 11.75″H. Materials: iron. Period: mid-20th century. See less
