A striking antique SOLAR carbide bicycle headlamp by Badger Brass Manufacturing Co. of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Made around the turn of the 20th century, this early acetylene lamp features its embossed Solar top, large faceted red and green side lenses, clear front lens, and patent dates stamped on the base.
The lamp has a warm, aged brass-toned finish with a rich patina. A compelling display piece for a library, study, or collection of early bicycles and industrial lighting.
