A striking Maitland Smith figural lamp, with a monkey perched atop an elaborately decorated elephant beneath a dramatic, tasseled shade. The sculptural composition, rich bronze-tone finish and tooled faux-leather shade make this a memorable statement piece for an eclectic or collected interior. The shade glows a vivid red when illuminated.
Circa 2005. Approximately 37” high overall, including the 3.5” finial. The shade’s lower edge is approximately 16” below the top of the finial. Base: approximately 5” × 3”.
