Striking Czech pressed art glass ball vase by Libochovice, featuring a rounded form with an intricate geometric relief pattern of square and circular motifs. The clear glass is accented with a rich cobalt-blue tint, particularly along the edges and lower portion of the vase. The faceted relief catches the light beautifully and gives the compact form a strong architectural quality.
Libochovice is known for its pressed-glass production and collaborations with important Czech designers. The spherical vase form was also an established part of the company's production.
