Bring an instant layer of coastal sophistication and organic texture to your interior with this impressive 19-inch vintage Italian hand-blown art glass baluster vase, showcasing a massive, curated collection of over 3,500 natural white seashells.
The substantial glass vessel features a classic, elegant baluster silhouette with a wide 6.5-inch opening and a gracefully flared neck. Blown from beautiful, faintly green-tinted art glass, the base of the vessel prominently displays its authentic "MADE IN ITALY" factory origin embossed cleanly into the glass.
Housed inside the vase is an incredible, dense volume of thousands of miniature natural white bivalve, ark, and cockle shell halves. The sheer quantity creates a stunning, layered mosaic effect through the glass, highlighting the delicate ridges and organic forms of the collection. Perfect as a striking focal centerpiece for a beach house console, a master bath ledge, or a bright kitchen island, this unified ensemble infuses any coastal contemporary, modern organic, or transitional space with effortless seaside luxury.
Based on a volumetric calculation for a baluster-shaped glass vase with a 19-inch height and a 6.5-inch top opening, there are an estimated 3,200 to 3,800 shells packed inside.
Because the loose white bivalves, arks, and cockles are small, curved, and deeply concave, they stack into a tight random-packing density that fills about 52% of the interior chamber with solid shell material, leaving the remaining space as natural air pockets.
