A beautifully detailed vintage tabletop picture frame by Virginia MetalCrafters, with an elaborate Rococo-inspired silhouette of scrolling acanthus leaves, floral ornament, and a dramatic central crest. A fine beaded border frames the photograph opening, while the openwork surround gives the piece lovely depth and presence on a mantel, desk, bookshelf, or bedside table.
Its substantial weight and sculptural design make it just as appealing as a decorative object as it is for displaying a treasured photograph or small work of art. The reverse retains its folding easel support for tabletop display.
The frame is marked Virginia MetalCrafters and pattern number 12-4.
Dimensions: approximately 12” H × 8” W
