Charming pair of vintage Indian decorative vessels in an aged antique-brass finish, featuring two complementary forms and rich naturally developed patina.
The smaller vessel is raised on three sculptural feet and accented with decorative side handles and applied ornamental details. The larger vessel has a broad rounded body, substantial rolled rim, decorative side handles and embossed medallion-style embellishments. Together, the differing scale and related metalwork create an especially attractive collected-over-time appearance.
The warm brass, bronze and brown surface variation gives the pair considerable character and works beautifully in Bohemian, traditional, global and eclectic interiors. Style them together on a console or coffee table, use them as decorative cachepots, or incorporate them into a layered collection of antique and vintage brass.
Original underside labeling identifies the larger piece as Made in India and specifically intended for decorative rather than food use.
Sold as a pair. 6"x3.5" and 4.25"x3.125"
