These armchairs embody the refined taste of 18th-century French nobility: light, graceful, and perfect for a summer salon. The frame is hand-carved walnut with rocaille, shell, and acanthus leaf motifs on the cornice, armrests, and band. The curved "cabriole" legs end in curled feet and are joined by a precious carved X-shaped crosspiece, typical of the finest Parisian ateliers of the period.

The seat and backrest are in the original cannage, ambered by time, lending visual lightness and breathable comfort. The armrests retain their padded cuffs upholstered in turquoise fabric, a refined detail that protected the wood and added a touch of color. The patina is warm and authentic, with traces of antique gilding in the deeper carvings.
