This comfortable chair features a slender metal frame, a sheet-steel backrest, and Bakelite armrests. Developed in the late 1950s through the collaboration between Wim Rietveld and Ahrend De Cirkel, this sleek, minimalist design has become a recognizable Dutch design classic.

The previous owner reupholstered these chairs in a stunning turquoise wool fabric by De Ploeg. The fresh color lends a soft, contemporary touch to the robust metal design. There are very minor signs of use on the metal frame. The two chairs are sold individually; the price listed is per armchair.
