We are pleased to present this elegant pair of 1930s Swedish armchairs, “For RoseMarie” , combining sculptural Art Deco forms with rich materials and excellent comfort.
Upholstered in deep green velvet, the chairs are beautifully framed by warm maple details that follow the curved shape of the arms and continue down into the front legs. Their rounded sides and softly angled backs give the design a refined and distinctly Scandinavian character.
During the 2000s, both chairs were professionally reupholstered, including renewed webbing, fillings and springs, providing strong support and making them very comfortable for everyday use.
A stylish and highly decorative pair of Swedish 1930s lounge chairs, combining green velvet, maple and elegant period proportions.
